Sher Bahadur Deuba’s son is a Nepali Congress member officially now

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s son Jaiveer Singh Deuba has joined his father-led Nepali Congress party officially.

The 26-year-old is one of the new active members of the party in ward 1 of Ganyapadhura rural municipality of the Dadeldhura district, his father’s constituency, informs the ward chair Chet Raj Paneru.

Local party leaders say they will elect him as a delegate to the party’s convention at the constituency level.

Jaiveer Singh Deuba is a political science graduate from a British university. He is expected to emerge as an active politician in the next few years.
