Nepal records 1,640 new COVID-19 cases, 10 deaths in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 8 – Coronavirus has been confirmed in another 1,640 people in Nepal on Wednesday.

According to the Ministry of Health, 9,767 PCR tests were conducted across the country and 1,347 and 3,688 antigen tests were performed on 293 people.

At the same time, the number of coronavirus infections in Nepal has reached 859,535.

Another 10 people have died due to coronavirus. Coronavirus has killed 10,889 people in Nepal so far.

Similarly, 2,161 infected have been recovered bringing the total number of recovered 733,161 in Nepal so far.

Currently, 29,479 people are actively isolated and 256 are in quarantine.
