Citizens of Afghanistan with visas can stay in Australia indefinitely

Kathmandu. Afghan citizens with visas will be able to stay in Australia indefinitely.

The Prime Minister of Australia Scott Morrison has announced that Afghan citizens will be able to stay in Australia under the same visa.

Australia has begun the process of repatriating 130 of its citizens and Afghans working with them to Afghanistan, Prime Minister Morrison has said.

But he has made it clear that not all Afghans who have worked with Australia will be taken to Australia.

Australia has deported 430 Afghans since April.
