Kathmandu- Corona infection is on the rise again in Nepal.
Experts are warning that the third wave will start as the number of infected people is increasing every day. To prevent infection, the government has issued instructions to comply with mandatory safety standards.
A restraining order has also been issued in the Kathmandu Valley for the prevention of infection, but the ban has not been properly followed.
While the administration has been accused of not playing a role in enforcing the ban, a monitoring inspection has been carried out on Thursday led by the Assistant Chief District Officer of Kathmandu.
A team led by Assistant Principal Umakanta Adhikari monitored the shops and public transport in Kathmandu. Rs 100 will be fined for those who do not wear masks for violating public health standards.
The government has recently been running an awareness campaign to wear masks.
