Students to be Vaccinated on Basis of Admission Card

Covid-19 infection confirmed in 828 people in Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu. The government has started vaccinating the students against COVID-19 who are participating in the examination conducted under Tribhuvan University.

 

According to Badri Bahadur Khadka, head of the Health Office, Kathmandu, vaccination of students has been started from Thursday on the basis of admission cards from five vaccination centres in the Kathmandu Valley. He said that arrangements have been made for the students to be vaccinated in Kathmandu till Shrawan 30.

 

According to Khadka, students will be able to get vaccinated at the Police Hospital, Military Hospital, Armed Police Hospital, Civil Servants Hospital, and Radhaswami Isolation Vaccination Center in Kathmandu.

 

The decision to vaccinate about 60,000 candidates will be taken by the secretary-level meeting on Wednesday.

 

According to the Head of Child Welfare and Immunization Division of the Health Services Department, Dr.Jhalak Sharma Gautam said that students from outside the Kathmandu Valley can go to the nearest vaccination centre and get vaccinated on the basis of an admission card.
