POKHARA: On Friday morning, two bodies were found in a landslide accident at Anbu Khaireni Rural Municipality-4 of Tanahun, along the Muglin Pokhara road section.
At around 4.30 a.m. on Friday, only the hooters of the car numbered Ba 10 Cha 4679 were found. The car’s and people’s conditions are unknown.
A team from the Armed Police Force Disaster Management Training School Kurintar led by Armed Police Inspector Umesh Kafle rescued the bodies of Keshav Ghimire, 35, of Gorkha Siranchowk, and another man. It is believed that motorcycle number 1081 is missing, but the rider is unharmed.
Keshav Ghimire, 35, of Siranchowk, Gorkha, was allegedly riding a motorcycle (Ga 15 Pa 2953) while a team including a diver under the command of Armed Police Inspector Umesh Kafle from the Armed Police Force Disaster Management Training School Kurintar rescued him and the body of another person has been recovered and the motorcycle (Ba 33 Pa 1081) is reported missing and the motorcyclist is safe.
The other three people who were injured in the landslide accident are unharmed. The landslide accident involved a car and a motorcycle.
Roads near the powerhouse under the Mugling road section have been completely washed away and blocked.
