Budhanilkantha School in the capital has opened the application to give poor and needy children the opportunity to study on a scholarship. According to the information published by the Ministry of Education under the Budhanilkantha School and Partnership Program, students born in 2067 BS or 2068 BS and who have studied regularly in local community schools for at least two years and completed class 4 in the academic session 2077 BS can apply.
As they are selected after application, such students will get the opportunity to study for free or at a concessional fee. Interested candidates should download the form from the website of the school or the Department of Education and submit it to the appropriate examination centre before the examination starts. The principal of the school, Homnath Acharya, said that the examination will be held on Saturday, July 12 at 11 am.
Examination Centers have already been selected in major places across the nation. Examinations centres have been selected in Ilam, Viratnagar, Hile (Dhankuta), Gaighat (Udaipur), Rajviraj, Janakpur, Lalbandi, Kalaiya, Khurkot, Dolalghat, Hetauda, Gorkha, Besisahar, Pokhara, Beni, Butwal, Ghorahi, Nepalgunj, Virendranagar, Chaurjahari, Jumla, Attariya and Dadeldhura. Similarly, an examination centre has been set up at Budhanilkantha School in Kathmandu.
According to the program, 77 students will be selected without repeating the district.
