Sujita Thakur case: Three arrested for murder

Police said that her father was involved in the murder of Sujita Thakur of Mahottari.

As per the Police “her own father was also involved in the murder of Sujita Thakur”, whose body was found buried under a safety tank.

Police on Monday released three more people, including her father Kameshwor Pandey. Earlier, four persons, including Rupesh Thakur, brother-in-law of the deceased, have been made public by the police. So far, seven persons are under police control in the same incident. Although there are some more accused, the police have not made their names public.

 

Her own father was also involved in the murder of Sujita Thakur, whose body was found buried under a safety tank.

 

SP Dinesh Acharya of the District Police Office, Mahottari told a press conference on Monday that the father of the deceased had repeatedly told Rupesh Thakur to kill his own daughter. SP Acharya said that the father of the deceased had even bargained to hide the incident.

He said that 55-year-old Binod Mandal alias Pramod, a resident of 24 Kuti Pokhari Basahiya of Janakpur Sub-Metropolis, was also arrested for his involvement in the incident. Earlier, police had made public Rupesh Thakur of Loharpatti Municipality-7 Bhramarpura and Bantha, 37, of the same place, his brother Nathuni Mandal, 32, and Adam Raine, 33, of the same place.
