Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has responded to the National Assembly on the disappearance of Jaisingh Dhami from Tuin in Darchula. In today’s (Monday) National Assembly meeting, Khand informed about the incident on behalf of the government. Dhami, who fell into the Mahakali River on Friday, has gone missing after the tuin rope was cut by the Indian Border Security Force personnel while crossing the river.
‘The construction of a suspension bridge on the Mahakali River has moved forward by displacing four twins. Some rivers in Nepal still have to use tuin, ‘he said, adding,’ A suspension bridge is being built over the Mahakali River at Malghat. But the current uncomfortable situation has made harder for constrution to kick off. District headquarters and village police posts are mobilized to search for the missing youth.
He said that search was also being carried out from five border security bases. A committee has been formed to investigate the incident. We have given 10 days to the committee, “he said.” The team formed to investigate the incident has left for Dhangadhi today.
