Covid-19 Count Nepal: 1,875 new cases, 2,164 recovered, and 21 deaths within 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health and Population reported that as of Saturday afternoon, the country’s Covid-19 count reached 714,248, and the country confirmed 1,875 new cases.

Case. In the past 24 hours. During this period, 6,858 swab samples were analyzed by RT-PCR, of which 1,310 were positive. In addition, 3,208 people were tested for viral antigens, of which 565 people tested positive. 

In all tests, 19.10% of PCR and 17.61% of antigen samples were positive, and the overall daily positive rate remained at 18.62%. As of today, there are 25,952 active cases nationwide. 

Of these, 2,475 were hospitalized, 583 were in the intensive care unit, and 176 needed respirators. In the past 24 hours, 2,164 people have recovered and 21 people have reportedly died. Of the total cases so far, 630,407 people have recovered. In addition, according to the Ministry, 9,527 people died.
