639 cases, 1,600 recoveries, 3 deaths in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: FEB. 16 – In the last 24 hours, COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 639 more people in Nepal.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 9,756 samples were tested across the country. The PCR test of 6,782 women confirmed the infection in 548 cases and the antigen test of 2,974 people confirmed the infection in 659 out of 185 people.

According to the ministry, three more people died during the period.

In the last 24 hours, 1,600 people have been recovered.
